Michael Zikaras grew up in a household where creativity wasn't a subject, it was a way of life. His father and grandfather were world-renowned sculptors; his grandmother a dress maker who trained and worked in Paris; his other grandfather a theatre set designer; and his uncle, a celebrated painter. He didn't just observe creativity from the outside. He lived inside it, studied it, and spent decades asking why some people sustain their creative capacity and output across a lifetime, and why others quietly lose it.

That question became a 30-year professional obsession. As a senior leader and high-performance coach across some of Australia's most demanding corporate and startup environments, Michael saw the same pattern repeat: talented, driven people who had stopped believing in their own creative capacity, not because it left them, but because the conditions around them eroded it.
